Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Letco.ai ("Letco", "we", "our", or "the Platform"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Letco platform, including all related services, features, and content. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Letco is a development orchestration ecosystem that provides tools for analysis, planning, and automated orchestration of software development workflows. Letco is not an AI provider and does not supply AI model access or API keys.

2. Platform Description

Letco provides an ecosystem for:

• Remote access and monitoring of AI coding sessions (e.g., Claude Code)
• Automated orchestration of development phases and execution plans
• Analysis and planning of software projects
• Real-time collaboration and session sharing
• Preview environments for development projects

The Platform acts as a management and orchestration layer. All AI capabilities are provided by third-party AI platforms (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google) and are accessed exclusively through your own credentials.

3. User Responsibilities — API Keys & Licenses (BYOK Model)

Letco operates on a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model. This means:

• You provide your own API keys — Letco has no own API keys or subscription tokens for AI platforms. You must supply valid API credentials from your chosen AI provider.
• You are responsible for your API keys — You are solely responsible for managing, securing, and paying for your AI provider API keys and any associated usage costs.
• Usage limits are from your AI provider— When your API quota or rate limits are exhausted, you must wait for your AI provider's reset period or upgrade your plan directly with them. Letco has no control over these limits.
• Your keys are encrypted at rest — API keys stored in Letco are encrypted using AES-256-GCM and are never shared with other users or third parties.

4. AI Platform Execution Modes

AI platform instances (e.g., Claude Code sessions) can run in the following modes:

• On your device (remote) — The AI instance runs on your local machine and is monitored remotely through the Letco agent. Your API key is used directly by the local process.
• Interactively by you — You interact with the AI platform directly through the Letco web interface. Your API key is used for all AI operations.
• In a sandbox — The AI instance runs in an isolated, secure environment (Docker container) managed by Letco. Even in this case, exclusively your API key or subscription token is used for all AI operations.

In all execution modes, the AI platform consumes your API quota, not Letco's.

5. Orchestration Layer

Letco's orchestration layer — which handles automated phase validation, score-based approval, and execution plan management — may use AI platform APIs via Letco's own API keys on a pay-as-you-go basis. This orchestration usage is:

• Limited to orchestration control operations (validation, scoring, planning)
• Separate from your primary AI coding sessions
• Covered by Letco as part of the platform service

6. Data & Encryption

Letco implements end-to-end encryption for your data:

• All messages are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM authenticated encryption
• Encryption keys are derived from your password using Argon2id
• The server has zero knowledge of your data after you log out
• You retain full ownership of all data you create or upload to the Platform
• A 24-word recovery mnemonic is provided for account recovery

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, sessions, or data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure or other users' access
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Platform
• Use the Platform to develop competing products or services
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized third parties

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your encrypted data will be permanently removed in accordance with our data retention policies.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Letco shall not be liable for:

• Any loss of data resulting from forgotten passwords and lost recovery keys
• AI provider service interruptions, API changes, or billing issues
• Actions taken by AI models during coding sessions
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
